Mary Rosenthal has been actively involved with non-profit organizations dedicated to community support and first responders since 2009. Her extensive experience and strong community relationships have enabled her to provide substantial support to police and fire personnel in the Omaha area, facilitating their work and enhancing their capabilities.
A notable example of her impact occurred in 2020, when Mary organized water donations for officers working in extreme heat during the riots. In 45 minutes, she secured 500 cases of donated bottled water. She then mobilized Omaha firefighters, who transported the 22,000 pounds of water to a designated staging area.
Mary’s dedication and unique civilian perspective led to her appointment to the board of the OPOAF when it was established. Her contributions have been invaluable in helping the foundation achieve its mission.
Mary holds two bachelor’s degrees and an MBA. In addition to her non-profit work, she has been a real estate agent since 2001, bringing a wealth of expertise and commitment to her profession.
