Following a deeply rooted tradition and duty of service to the Omaha community, the Omaha Police Officer’s Association formed a 501(c)3 foundation to carry on this effort.

In 2021, a group of seven founding members established the Omaha Police Officers Association Foundation with a mission to promote a positive relationship between the Omaha Police Department and the communities it serves through outreach, education, and engagement to enhance public safety and foster positive outcomes.

Today, the OPOAF has grown and continues the good work of community outreach and engagement through multiple events throughout the year and active community engagement through sponsorships and participation in community events
