Mischel Anderson is the Office Manager for the Omaha Police Officers Association (OPOA) and has dedicated eight years to serving the organization. Born and raised in Omaha, Mischel brings a deep understanding of the community’s needs and challenges.
Mischel’s broad experience and commitment to service have made her an invaluable member of the team. Her involvement with the Omaha Police Officers Association Foundation (OPOAF) began when the founding president requested a “civilian” to join the board. Eager to contribute, Mischel accepted the role and has since been an enthusiastic supporter of the foundation’s mission.
Mischel’s dedication to community service is rooted in her involvement with the Catholic community, where she volunteers and assisted with various organizations. Coming from smaller parishes, she has witnessed firsthand the significant needs of underprivileged children and the broader community. This background fuels her belief in the foundation’s mission and its impact on families’ lives.
Her favorite aspect of the OPOAF is the ability to make a substantial difference in the lives of families. Although her board service has primarily been school-related, Mischel’s commitment to service extends to numerous church and school activities her children have been involved in. She actively volunteers at church events and at her children’s high school, Roncalli Catholic.
Mischel Anderson’s dedication and passion for community service make her a vital asset to the OPOAF, where she continues to work towards creating positive change and supporting those in need.
